In late 2009, Ford recalled model years 2010 F-650 and F-750 trucks.

The basis of this recall lies in an improperly assembled chassis wire harness. Affected units may have been manufactured without a connector seal. If this seal is missing, the connector terminals could corrode and negatively impact the illumination of the vehicle’s rear brake lamps, tail lamps, turn signal lamps or even trailer lamps. Further, this defect could also affect the anti-lock brake system.

Of course, a lack of function in any of these areas could significantly increase the risk of a crash.

Under this recall, dealers will inspect affected vehicles and make any necessary repairs.

If you live in Ohio or Pennsylvania and own a 2010 F-650 and F-750 Ford truck and have had similar problems that were not satisfactorily resolved by your dealer, give us a call at 866-568-0064 for a fee and confidential evaluation.

Remember, there is no out-of-pocket cost to you should we take your case – under the Ohio and PA lemon law, the manufacturer must cover legal costs on valid claims.

Stay tuned for further details…

Late last year, General Motors issued a recall for certain 2010 model year Chevrolet Equinox and 2010 GMC Terrain vehicles. Notices of this recall, which covers more than 59,000 vehicles, started going out early this year.

The issues involved the windshield defrosting and defogging systems. It seems that problems with the software in the center instrument panel can cause the heating, air conditioning, defrost, radio controls and panel illumination to stop working.

Of course, driving without a functional defrost system can impair visibility under certain driving conditions and increase your chances of being involved in an accident.

As part of the recall, dealers will replace the computer module in the center instrument panel free of charge.

However, if you own one of these (or any other new vehicle) and find that attempts to repair or resolve any defects are unsuccessful, you may have a valid lemon claim. (When a safety issue is involved, it only takes one failed repair attempt to be considered).

Take our FREE lemon test today to find out if you are eligible for a refund or new vehicle. We’ll get back to you within 24 hours to discuss your situation.

Now, we are dealing with General Motors again on a new Cadillac CTS. Electrical issues are again the issue. So, I wonder if anyone else is having these problems? Leave a comment below and let us know.

Fortunately, GM’s bankruptcy filing has had no real effect on Ohio lemon law and PA lemon law outcomes. (Under the terms of the bankruptcy agreement, GM agreed to honor warranty and lemon law claims. So, from our standpoint, it is almost as if the GM bankruptcy never occurred).

If you live in Ohio or Pennsylvania* and want to know if your Cadillac CTS (or any other Cadillac model) qualifies under either the Ohio lemon law or the PA lemon law, take our Free Lemon Test now and we’ll have results back to you in less than 24 hours.

If you live in Ohio or Pennsylvania and buy a new car, truck or RV that has a car recall or vehicle defects that can’t be repaired, the lemon laws in both states can help. There is a federal law known as the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act which can help you, as well.

If you think your new car, truck or RV may be a lemon, you will want to talk to an experienced lemon law attorney as soon as possible. The benefits of working with a lemon lawyer include: 1) it shows the manufacturer you are serious about resolving your claim and 2.) there is no out-of-pocket cost to you for doing so. (The manufacturer pays legal fees if the claim is successful).

Not sure if you are driving a lemon? Take Our Free Lemon Test Now - results within 24 hours!

Lemon law cases usually arise when there is a defect that cannot be repaired in a reasonable number of attempts and/or within a reasonable amount of time. If the defect involves a safety issue – as is the case with the recent Toyota recalls - a single unsuccessful repair attempt may qualify under the Ohio lemon law and the Pennsylvania lemon law.

Have you reported vehicle problems (and had them blown off) by General Motors? News reports and anecdotal evidence show this is a common problem.

Fortunately, if you reside in Ohio or Pennsylvania, The OH and PA lemon laws are powerful tools – especially when you have an experienced lemon law attorney on your side.

At Chernosky Law Offices, we get countless complaints from clients who have been given the runaround from General Motors. However, once they start working with an lemon law attorney, GM puts the case in its early investigation and resolution program. (This is because General Motors knows they have to pay lawyer fees if you win).

An experienced lemon law attorney can help when you have had too many vehicle defects or the manufacturer is unwilling or unable to repair it properly under the warranty. If you still have a new car warranty, then help is available (even in spite of the GM bankruptcy). Too many car recalls may also qualify your vehicle as a lemon law case.

Remember, there is no out-of-pocket cost to you for this service. The manufacturer pays our fee if your claim is successful.

Call us today at 866-568- 0064 for a free evaluation!

The PA Lemon Law protects consumers struggling with problems and defects with a new vehicle.

Buying a new car or RV is clearly a large investment. If you live in Pennsylvania and experience problems with your new vehicle and the dealer can’t seem to fix it (or they fix one thing and additional vehicle defects continue to arise) – you may have a claim under the PA Lemon Law. (Most states – including Ohio - have a Lemon Law in place that protects you under these circumstances).

Here are a couple questions to keep in mind:

Has the vehicle been at the shop more than 30 days?

Has the dealer tried to repair the vehicle several times?

Have you had 8 or more different problems?

Do the problems with your new vehicle pose a safety risk? (i.e. like the recent Toyota recalls)

If you experienced any of these things, then chances are you will qualify to receive a new vehicle or your money back under the PA Lemon Law.

In order to get a new vehicle or money back, you need to notify the manufacturer and ask for help. Every manufacturer has an early resolution program where they review lemon law claims.

To help you with this process – Contact one of our Pennsylvania lemon lawyers or Ohio Lemon Lawyers. There is absolutely NO COST for this service because the manufacturer will have to pay our fee if we are successful.

Take advantage of free legal advice and assistance today! Call us toll free at 866-568-0064 for a free consultation or take our FREE Lemon Test to find out if your vehicle may qualify.

Toyota has issued its largest recall ever and has stopped production on vehicles built in the United States, including the popular Toyota Camry and Toyota Highlander models.

This massive Toyota recall is due to a problem with the accelerator pedal sticking or the throttle sticking. The exact cause is still unknown.

The Toyota recall could give rise to lemon law claims and many vehicle owners may be entitled to a refund or a new vehicle. Of course, this outcome would be better for current Toyota owners than getting into a class action lawsuit or just letting Toyota fix the particular problem (after the underlying cause is found).

The lemon law in Ohio and Pennsylvania says the manufacturer must repurchase the vehicle or replace the vehicle (consumer’s choice) if it falls under the following presumption:

After one unsuccessful repair attempt on a safety-related issue, then it falls under the OH and PA Lemon Law.

In other words, if the owner has experienced the accelerator/throttle defect AND they have brought it to Toyota’s attention AND they have tried unsuccessfully to fix it just one time – Ohio and Pennsylvania Lemon Laws will apply.

If you have experienced this problem and want to try to get your vehicle repurchased by Toyota, call us at 440-471-7071 or email David [at] LemonLawyerInfo.com for a free consultation.

Chrysler lemon law cases have come up in Ohio Pennsylvania and other states because of engine oil sludge found in several of its Dodge vehicles. Many of these vehicles were manufactured between 1998 and 2002, but newer vehicles can also exhibit engine oil sludge which could ultimately end with an engine failure. Most engine oil sludge cases we have seen are the result of a defect in the engine or the fuel system.

Chrysler is denying warranty coverage for these claims and no car recall so far. Consumer cases are rampant and several states have class actions pending against Chrysler lemon law.
