The Ford Motor Company has concerns over the braking systems of its hybrid cars. As a result, Ford recalled some 17,600 hybrid sedan models. (Software glitches have been blamed for a perception of inadequate braking in these vehicles).
Of course, the Ford Motor Company recalls come hot on the heels of news that Toyota is under investigation from US safety authorities over braking problems with its Prius hyybrid car.
